Order Marriage Certificates Online or In Person in Cuyahoga

There are three main ways to obtain a copy of a marriage record from the Cuyahoga County Probate Court:

Online

The Probate Court offers an online case search through its web docket system. To order certified copies, download the copy request form from the court's copies page and follow the submission instructions provided there. The Ohio Department of Health also maintains statewide vital records and may offer an additional ordering option for marriage records filed in Ohio.

In Person

Visit the Probate Court at the address below during business hours. Walk-in requests are accepted. Bring a valid photo ID and be prepared to provide the full names of both spouses and the approximate date of marriage.
